Starting a business often begins with one of the toughest tasks: choosing a name. It needs to be unique, memorable, and available. Not an easy task! Luckily, my husband stepped up to the challenge, suggesting a name that truly resonates with me—thank you!

Welcome to MingDoung, which translates to "Aunt Doung" in Khmer. This name holds a special place in my heart, as it was a nickname given to me by my family. My nieces and nephews affectionately call me Ming Doung, and I often refer to myself that way when speaking to them. It felt only fitting to infuse this sense of family and connection into my business name. I hope that as you shop, the essence of MingDoung stays with you.
